Hi everyone, I’m Chrissy Vasquez—thank you so much for visiting our page! I have been working as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for over 15 years and truly love what I do.

I’m originally from Sugar Land, Texas, and completed my undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Houston—Go Coogs! I went on to earn my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and recently completed my Clinical Doctorate at Rocky Mountain University. My doctoral work focused on improving problem-solving skills following pediatric brain injury, an area that has become a major passion in my clinical practice.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a wide range of settings, including home health, private clinics, public and private schools, and behavior clinics. I am trained in implementing and programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, am a certified trauma-informed coach, and hold my Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (CASDCS) credential. I am deeply passionate about speech therapy and supporting children and families, and that passion is reflected in the care I provide every day.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of five—life is always busy and full of energy! I’m happily married to my best friend, and we love spending time together as a family, especially when we’re near the water.
